Meet Your Agent Training Requirements

FMH provides a variety of training and courses to help agents meet federal training licensing requirements and earn Continuing Education (CE) credits.

Education Requirements

 

New Agents

Must have 12 hours of comprehensive training on the federal crop insurance program prior to selling or servicing a policy plus individual state requirements.

 

Existing Agents

Must have 3 hours of comprehensive training on updates or changes to the federal crop insurance program each year in addition to state requirements. 

Agent Competency Exam

Agents must complete the Agent Competency Exam once every three years. Need to take yours? FMH offers an online exam you can take at your convenience. 

 


 

How to Meet Your Requirements

 

1. Prep for June 30 Deadline

 

Federal training is due by June 30th for each Reinsurance Year. For a full list of federal and state training requirements, navigate in FMHA to  Tools & Resources > Training > Training & CE Requirements.

2. Enroll in Our Course
