This past spring, Iowa agent and policyholder Josh Williams experienced these benefits of Precision Solutions firsthand on his own 400-acre farm. He worked with FMH Precision Tech Specialist Cole Olson, who went on farm with Williams to help him collect raw monitor data for his acreage report.

Using precision, the acres reported for one of Williams’ fields was 15-20 percent lower than his FSA acres.

“By gathering the data from the monitor and accurately collecting the actual number of acres planted, I saved about 30 acres of premium for the field,” Williams said.
