A primary focus of the executive leadership team at FMH is to maintain the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and vendors. FMH has been closely monitoring CDC and local organization guidelines to update its policies and comply with current recommendations for managing the Coronavirus outbreak.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve made the following changes to comply with CDC social distancing guidelines for both office and field staff:

Travel
- All non-essential business travel has been canceled. Meetings and events have been canceled or postponed until further notice and are being conducted via conference calls or virtually, where possible.
- Employees who have recently traveled are self-quarantined at home for 14-days after returning, as well as those who have been directly exposed to the virus, or if they or a family member have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
- Employees are asked to self-report any exposure or diagnosis so the necessary steps can be taken.
- Claims employees who reside in a state or city that has issued a "stay-at-home" order will be provided with a Travel Authorization document, which allows them to travel for work, where insurance services are deemed as essential functions.
Based on President Trump's announcement to extend the nationwide social distancing guidelines through April 30, 2020, FMH will continue to have office employees work from home if they are able to do so.
While these changes were implemented quickly, our employees have risen to the challenge and continue to take calls and process business to ensure no disruption in customer service. Conditions are changing daily and are being evaluated by our executive team so that we can update our policies as needed.
We hope that you and your families stay safe and well.
