Since bringing Automated Crop Reporting (ACR) to FMH in 2015, the number of acres reported via this method has more than doubled in just four years. This past acreage reporting season alone has seen a 31 percent increase in ACR acres from last year.
The states with the highest number of ACR acres this year are South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Kansas, respectively. In addition to a record year in acres, FMH is pleased to report that the number of agents adopting Precision Crop Insurance
Solutions
continues to grow.
“I’m proud of our Precision Tech Specialists, ACR & Mapping team, sales managers, and underwriters who are helping us to meet our ACR growth goals this year,” said Dawn Stoppelmoor, Business Development Manager. “As we move into harvest, we are relying on our well-trained claims and adjusting staff to continue to assist in showing producers the benefits of Precision Claims.”
FMH Precision Crop Insurance Solutions include two precision data-based processes: Automated Crop Reporting for streamlined acreage and production reporting; and Precision Claims for faster claims processing and payment. Precision Claims
can also simplify the APH Review process for producers. A producer doesn’t need to use ACR to
still process their claim with precision data.
“Incorporating precision data into all aspects of agronomic and business decisions continues to grow in the agriculture industry. This is the future of crop insurance, and it’s only getting better,” added Stoppelmoor. “We’re excited to see Precision Solutions grow.”
